Hailey Bieber Slams Claims She Reposted a TikTok About Her Tolerating "Abuse" From Justin Bieber

Hailey Bieber is over people negatively discussing her and Justin Bieber's relationship. Despite the model constantly dispelling rumors of trouble in paradise with Justin, users on TikTok alleged that Hailey recently reposted a video that claimed she tolerates abuse from Justin—but she wasn't having it.

“Hey,” Hailey captioned her January 10 Instagram Stories post. “I know you guys who live on the internet are really bored, but I didn’t repost any video speaking on my relationship. Have a beautiful Saturday!”

The TikTok video in question offered a critical look at codependent relationships, and used Hailey as an example of women that tolerate poor behaviors from their partners and spouses (in this case, Justin).

“Most long-term relationships that we romanticize and congratulate only work because the woman is a tolerant co-dependent,” the user said in the January 8 TikTok video. “And when I say tolerant, I mean she tolerates mediocrity, abuse, doing the majority of domestic and emotional labor, in exchange for being in a relationship. And that is a contract that I am opting out of.”

The woman in the video added, “There is no better example than Hailey Bieber and Justin Bieber. People are wondering how this relationship is still lasting, it's' because Hailey is a tolerant codependent woman. Hailey will never leave Justin.”

TikTok users noticed that the video appeared in the reposts tag on Hailey's profile page...and promptly noted on it in the comments of the original video.

“Hailey realizing that she accidentally reposted,” one user commented, while another TikTok user added, “Hailey Bieber reposted, there's no waaaay.”

As it stands, Hailey is no stranger to receiving critical comments about her and Justin's relationship. Back in May, the model reflected on being postpartum after giving birth to her and Justin's son Jack all while dealing with divorce rumors.

“Being postpartum is the most sensitive time I’ve ever gone through in my life, and learning a new version of myself is very difficult,” she told Vogue. “And to be doing that all the while going on the internet every day and people being like, ‘They’re getting divorced’ and ‘They’re this and They’re not happy’: It is such a mindfuck. I cannot even begin to explain it. It’s a crazy life to live.”

In a November GQ interview, Hailey explained that her and Justin's life “is our life and it is really public, so I think we’re just going to cross every bridge that we need to when we get there.” So take that for what you will.
